Delphine DOGOT

Associate Professor at the Law Faculty of Lille Catholic University

 

Delphine Dogot is an Associate professor of Law at the Université catholique de Lille since 2019. She is based at the Paris-Issy Campus, where she leads the law & digital technologies initiatives for the Faculty of Law. She is the Director of LeStudio, the collaborative digital/law lab of the Faculty. She is a member the C3RD Research Centre Law & Risk and teaches on law and digital technologies, international law and legal philosophy. Her research investigates the digital transformation of law, regulation and governance. She currently works on data-driven and blockchain governance architectures and on the construction and effect of algorithmic and machine learning tools on legal reasoning and practices. Delphine regularly lectures at Sciences Po Law School and the Faculty of Law of Université Aix Marseille and Universidad de Los Andres on global security and algorithmic governance. Before joining the law school, she carried a postdoctoral research on legaltech and machine learning at the Law Departement of HEC Paris as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. She has completed her Ph.D in Law at Sciences Po Law School and holds a Master and Bachelor in Law from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and a Master and Bachelor in Philosophy from Université Paris 4 Paris Sorbonne. Delphine has been an academic visitor at Nuffield College, University of Oxford, a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School, and a researcher the Perelman Centre for Legal Philosophy where she is an affiliate researcher.
