Baran Siyahhan is an associate professor of finance at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Sciences at Lille Catholic University since 2022. He holds a PhD in Finance from Vienna Graduate School of Finance, Austria and has worked at Aarhus University, Denmark (2010-2016) and Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, France (2016-2021). Baran’s research interests center on corporate finance and industrial organization. The main themes of his recent work include pricing dynamics in two-sided markets and platforms, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) profiles of SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises ) and sustainable finance. He has taught courses in international finance, corporate valuation, financial accounting, credit derivatives and mathematics.
