Liaison office

At NOMIKI BIBLIOTHIKI | COLLEGE our main concern is to connect our trainees with the labour market, aiming at their direct absorption, through contacts and connections with the business world, but also with representatives of employers and professional associations nationwide.

The main mission of the Liaison Office is to help NBC students and graduates integrate into the labour market and guide them in their search for professional direction.

Internships are an integral part of our programs and are implemented with the cooperation of the largest companies and law firms in Greece. The benefits of an internship are numerous and it is, undoubtedly, the starting point for our graduates’ successful career

Trainees have the opportunity to do their internship in one of the companies that have joined the Liaison Office program provided that the company is available.

Career days are jointly organized by the NBC Liaison Office and the partner companies in which trainees can do their internship. During these career days, trainees are given tours of the companies’ premises in order to have an insight into the workflow in a corporate environment.

Mentoring is a cooperative relationship between an experienced executive who acts as a role model, teacher, mentor and protector for the less experienced professional or employee. Mentors offer advice and guidance and share their knowledge, skills and experience to help mentees progress.

Mentoring can take many forms, depending on the needs and availability of the mentor and the mentee: face-to-face meetings, remote communication (via email, phone, Zoom), “shadowing” days when the mentee observes the mentor at work.

In this context and based on the availability of the executives, the mentoring process can begin.
